Charlotte Chess Club
Our community club meets at the Charlotte Library on Wednesdays from 3:00pm
and 5:00pm. The format is a drop-in and we have 6 chess sets so its best if some
folks bring their own sets. We encourage anyone interested in chess to join us.
We have players from Charlotte, Ferrisburgh, Hinesburg and Monkton.
Our players are primarily of elementary and middle school age but anyone
including adults are welcome. For younger children (4th grade and under), its
best to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We occasionally run a free 5
week (90 minutes a week) workshop for beginners to learn chess.
